Making a Mark at Scarborough Art Gallery

Back in October I was asked by Scarborough Museums Trust to document the install of ‘Making a Mark’, an exhibition part of The Big Draw campaign.

The concept was to have 200 students working with three different artists; Andy Black, Sally Taylor and Joanna Venus. Each artist had their own room where students were invited in to draw directly onto the gallery wall using POSCA pens. It took over 4 days to complete, and you can see a few images of the process below.

The following week the exhibition was open to the public and a selection of the photos were used as part of an interpretation panel across the upstairs balcony, (see the final image).
